A Huge Success!: Annual Meeting & Member Appreciation Week

We celebrated BIG this year during Member Appreciation Week (April 29th – May 4th). Here’s a brief recap of the fun:

Annual Meeting:
Thank you to all who came to the Annual Meeting on April 30th – your support and participation in the evening were fantastic! Also, thank you to Troy Stang of the NWCUA for being our Keynote Speaker. Mark your calendars for next year’s meeting: Tuesday, May 6th, 2014!

Member Appreciation Week – Seminars:
The whole week was filled with educational seminars given by Point West Business partners. Thank you to: Mark Eastburn (Primary Residential Mortgage); Dee Reddy (PDX Urban Real Estate); Sean Moore (Auto Mentors); Dean Eisenbraun (Lion Financial Advisors); and Point West Staff Member, Capella (presented BALANCE Financial Fitness education). More than 60 members attended these seminars giving them valuable education on relevant financial topics.

Member Appreciation Week – Prize Drawings:
We did a prize drawing at the Annual Meeting and another one at the end of the week in our lobby. Thank you to the following donors for your generous contributions: Auto Mentors; Clearwater Chiropractic & Massage; Competitive Edge; CO-OP Network; Credit Union Direct Lending (CUDL); Foliage Services; Michael J. Caro, Attorney at Law; Minuteman Press; Primary Residential Mortgage; and Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt.

Car Sale & BBQ:
On Saturday, May 4th we celebrated our members with a big BBQ and Car Sale, hosted by Auto Mentors. It was a sunny, warm day in Portland, the perfect way to end the week.
